Andrew Pesta Jr.

Andrew "Andy" Pesta Jr. died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005. He was 84.

Mr. Pesta PESTA was born July 21,1921, in South Bend, Ind. and graduated from Central High. He served in the United States Navy 1942-1945. He worked for Garrett Airesearch in Los Angeles, Calif., until retirement.

Mr. Pesta brightened the lives of family, friends and neighbors with his warmhearted generosity, zest for life and great sense of humor. Mr. Pesta is survived by his son, Jim; his daughter, Joeannea; and his sister, Jane. He was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria.

Mr. Pesta lived out his last few weeks at Olivia White Hospice in Flagstaff. A memorial service will be Friday, Oct. 28, at 3:30 p.m. at Norvel Owens Mortuary Chapel, 914 E. Route 66. Arrangements are by Norvel Owens Mortuary
