Stephen Joseph Nyikos Jr.

Stephen Joseph Nyikos was the son of Steve Nyikos and Anna Bella.

During World War II, Stephen enlisted as a B-17 Bomber pilot with the 8th Air Force 356th Command Squadron. He piloted 32 missions over Germany, France, and Belgium. He received a purple heart and numerous war medals. On December 16, 1943, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, Stephen married Julia Krizman.

Stephen is survived by his wife, daughter, four sons, sister, two daughters-in-law, seventeen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, James and Robert; and daughter-in-law, Patricia.
