NIMETH JOSEPH, born May 13, 1920 in Elk River, MN, passed from this life at the VA Medical Center on January 20, 2003. He was a longtime resident of Miami, where he moved in 1946. Joe was a carpenter/superintendent with Spector & Sons over 30 years and was a 50 year member of Local 993. He was P.E.R. with Miami Elks 948 and spent many years in service to the organization. He a also belonged to American Legion

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary; Sons, Christopher and Joseph W.: Grandson, Steven; Granddaughter, Jennifer; Brother, Louis, of Westminster, CA; Sister, Rose, of Cleveland, OH.

oe continues to serve us in the donor program at UM Medical School.

A Memorial Mass will be held Brendan Church, 8725 S.W. 32 Street, Miami, on February 4, 2003, at 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Florida Elks Children's Therapy Services 800-523-1673.

A gathering of friends will convene afterward at the family home.
