Joseph C. Kruszewski

SOUTH BEND - Joseph C. Kruszewski, 71, of 55453 Glenn Road, died at 11:10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Kruszewski retired in 1977 from Bendix Corp. after 25 years of service. He was born Aug. 13, 1920, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Sept. 28, 1941, in South Bend, he married Gwen Trusty. She survives with five sons, Larry J. of Toledo, Ohio, Richard J. of Indianapolis, Robert of Dundee, Fla., and David and Daniel, both of South Bend; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a wake service will be at 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association
