Word has been received that Robert E. Honer, 67, of La CanadaFlintridge, Calif., formerly of South Bend, died April 22 in his home after an illness. Mr. Honer was a retired electrical engineer.
He was born Jan. 16, 1921, in South Bend and moved to La Canada-Flintridge from San Diego in 1966.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Honer; a daughter, Susan Smith of Glendora, Calif.; a son, Robert E. Jr. of San Dimas, Calif.; two sisters, Joann Christensen of South Bend and Norma Von Allmen of Union Grove, Wis.; six grandchildren; and his mother, Valerie Cochran of South Bend.
There were no services. Cremation has taken place
