Robert C. Haynes

Word has been received of the death of Robert Clarence Haynes, 63, of Little Rock, Ark., formerly of South Bend, on Thursday at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock. Graveside services were to be held Monday in the Little Rock National Cemetery with Rev. Bob Rollins officiating.

The Huson Funeral Home, Little Rock, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Baptist Church in Little Rock.

Haynes was born on Jan. 10, 1920, in South Bend and had lived here for many years. He was a retired hair stylist.

He is survived by a daughter, Miss Mona Marie Haynes of Little Rock; and two sisters, Ms. Mildred Jewell of South Bend and Ms. Esther Dotts of Ottawa Lake, Mich.

A veteran of World War II, he also was a member of the American Legion, Second Baptist Church and the American Association of Retired Persons
