Mary A. (Ehman) Stephenson

MISHAWAKA - Mary Alice Stephenson, 70, of Fir Road, died at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Stephenson was a retired secretary for Emmco Insurance Co. She was born Aug. 31, 1921, in Columbus, Ind., and had lived in Mishawaka since 1925.

Her former husband, Howard W. Stephenson, survives with four daughters, Kathy Ann Canoy of Lakewood, Colo., Mary Beth Stephenson-Crooks of  Knoxville, Tenn., Patti Jo Stephenson of Denver, and Judy Lynn Davis of Mishawaka; two grandsons; and a sister, Marilyn Ehman of South Bend.

She was a member of Willow Creek United Methodist Church and was active in Penn-Harris-Madison School Corp. Parent-Teacher Association.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
