Charles J. Bredemus

Charles J. Bredemus, 64, who retired from Oil Co. in 1980, at 4:20 p.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital. He suffered a heart attack in his home, 505 Drive, West Lafayette, on Thursday and had been hospitalized since that time.
He was born March 3, 1921, in South Bend, and reared there. He had lived in Indianapolis and Columbia City and came to West Lafayette from Warsaw in 1983.
Mr. Bredemus was in sales and marketing with Standard Oil for 42 years. He served as an Air Force major during World War II and the Korean conflict.
He was a member of Epworth United Methodist in Indianapolis and Elks Lodge 143.
His marriage was Feb. 16, 1944, in Santa Monica, to Marion E. RaVell, and she survives. surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Bennett of Lafayette and Mrs. Stephen Jessup of Kokomo; and one son, Charles J. Bredemus of Indianapolis.
