Roberta (Blakney) Thompson

September 23, 1921 - October 30, 2018

Roberta Charlene Thompson, born September 23, 1921, after living a beautiful life in this world, passed "Over the Rainbow" on October 30, 2018, joining her adoring husband Albert, loving daughter Carol, devoted sisters Willa and June, and wonderful parents Irene and Charles.

Roberta enjoyed her family, volunteering, traveling, playing bridge, reading, sewing, growing roses, ballroom dancing, and music, most recently karaoke.

Her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Tom Kozlowski, her grand children, Brian and Rebecca McCloskey, Ted and Marianne Kozlowski and Dan and Jill Bishop, along with her great grandchildren extend an invitation to celebrate her time here with us on November 17 at 2:00 pm. at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home in Worthington. A heartfelt Thank You from family and friends belongs to all those at Willow Brook Christian Community in Delaware and Heartland Hospice of Marion for their gracious and loving care, until the time when God called her to be held in the palm of his hand.
