Bette J. (Barbier) Flanagan

Services for Bette J. Flanagan, 67, of 17326 Brandel Ave., who died at 4:25 a.m. Monday in Lake Wales (Fla.) Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Flanagan was born Aug. 26, 1921, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Sept. 26, 1942, in South Bend, as Bette Barbier, she married J. Lee Flanagan, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Lori Ann Ferro of South Bend and Sharon Lee Flanagan of Niles; a son, William R. of Granger; four grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Barbier of Ocean Hills, Calif.

She was a member of South Bend Country Club and a graduate of the former Central High School.
