Maxine E (Apt) Kise
KISE—Maxine E. Kise,87, loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 surround ed by her loving family. She was a longtime member of the Albuquerque Rose Society, earning the title of Consulting Rosarian from the National Rose Society, and won numerous awards for her horticultural and floral arrangements. She was a member and past president of LasBelladonnas Garden Club, contributing to the beautification of the community. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church for 45 years.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband James D.in 1984.
She is survived by 5 daughters: Charlotte Goff (Dick), Patrice Kise, Nancy Bell (Larry), Cindy Keylon (David), Peggy Hanks (Chuck) and son-in-law Steve Muhlhauser. She is also survived by10 granddaughters, Lisa Averhoff (Shad) and Traci Alexander (Bryon), Shannon Bell, Erin Frick (Sean), Carey and Kim Muhlhauser, Melissa and Stacey Hanks, Heather and Ashley Keylon,and seven great- grandchildren: Andrew, Kevin,and Sean Vasquez, Jacob and Nathan Averhoff, and Halie and Joshua Alexander. She is also survived by her brother Dean Apt (Rita) and numerous nephews and nieces. In addition, she is survived by her beloved dog, Annie.
