Word was received here Wednesday that Rev. M. A. Witter formerly pastor of the Brethren church, West Kittanning, is Ill at his home 3227 Howard street, Philadelphia with pneumonia.

REV. M. A. WITTER DIES AT HOME IN PHILADELPHIA
Friends here learned late Monday of the death of Rev. M. A. Witter that morning at 7:30 o'clock at his home, 3327 North Howard street, Philadelphia, following in illness of ten days of pneumonia. Deceased was formerly pastor of the West Kittanning, the Brush Valley and Blanco Brethren churches and was held in high esteem by all who knew him in this section. He resigned the pastorate here last fall to accept a call to Philadelphia. Rev. Mr. Witter is survived by his widow and one son, Alton Witter of Chicago. Funeral services and interment in Philadelphia Thursday afternoon.
