Helen (Davies) Robertson

Helen D. Robertson, 85, of 624 Cherry Tree Lane, died at 2:50 a.m. Sunday in Healthwin Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born on May 6, 1894, in South Bend, she had lived here all her life.

On Sept. 28, 1917, in South Bend, she married Neil V. Robertson, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen R. Habicht of Buchanan; two sons, Neil V. Jr. of Evanston, Ill., and W. Davies Bloomington, Ind.; and 11 grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday In the First Presbyterian Church. Dr. Daniel W. Fowler, D.D., pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the McGann Funeral Home.

She was the oldest living member of the First Presbyterian Church, the past president of the Children's Dispensary Board, a past member of the Board of Directors of Healthwin Hospital, a member of the Child Study Club, a former member of the South Bend Country Club, and a 1916 graduate of Wellsley College.
