Nancy Sue Cutler (Ditsch) - Class Of 1963 VIEW PROFILE

Nancy Sue Ditsch passed away on Wednesday morning, September 1, 2021, in South Bend at the age of 75. She was born September 4, 1945, in South Bend to the late William and Miriam (Blake) Cutler.

On September 8, 1962, Nancy married Harold Ditsch. He survives along with their three children, Debbie (Wayne) Demerse of Plant City, FL, Melinda (Joel Anteau) Sommers of Mishawaka, and Annette Ditsch of South Bend. Along with her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her sister, Judith Coppage of Glendale, AZ who passed in 2012.

Nancy attended Central High School and Mishawaka High School, where she graduated. Throughout the years, Nancy was a Tupperware consultant. She started in 1963 and after a few years, she was able to work herself up to a unit manager, earning several company cars and trips to San Francisco and New Orleans. She left Tupperware in 1987 and worked a short time for Osco Drug. In 1992, she became a consultant with Home Interiors and Gifts until 2008. In 2014 she returned, once again, to Tupperware. Nancy made many great friendships throughout her years in direct selling.

Nancy fully enjoyed life. She loved spending time with her family, whether it was going out to eat or just visiting. She also had a love of German Shepherds – she had six of them throughout her married life, leaving behind her little Angel. Nancy also enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. Her favorite places to visit were Virginia Beach/Norfolk area, where she had family. She had also lived there for five years when she was a child. Nancy and her family took a month-long trip out west, as well. She also liked traveling to Nashville, TN for the CMA Fest and other attractions. Nancy loved country music – especially the artists from the 70’s and 80’s. Her absolute favorite artist was Alan Jackson. She saw Alan Jackson many times in concert over the years.

Nancy was a fantastic wife and mother and will always be missed. She always enjoyed a good laugh and was a very caring and giving person.

There will be no services at this time, per the family. Palmer Funeral Homes-River Park and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.0
