Rael F. Brown

Rael Frank Brown, 68, of Turnbury Court, Granger, Ind., died on Wednesday, June 19, in the Mayo Clinic, Rochester Methodist Hospital, Rochester, Minn.
He was born on May 13, 1934, in South Bend, Ind., to Samuel Brown and Anna Fae. (Frank) Brown, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Vivian (Gold) Brown in 1974.
In December 1975, he married Barbara (Brown) Brown, who survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Lisa Barbara Brown of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mary Rachel Brown of South Bend; two sons, Samuel Morris Brown of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Asher Jason Brown of Seattle, Wash.; and by three sisters, Marilyn Brown and Babs Waks, both of South Bend, and Betty Lou Nevel of Chicago, Ill.
Rael was graduated from Central High School, attended Indiana University, and was graduated from the University of Miami, Coral Gables. Rael fought an admirable and courageous battle with multiple myeloma.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today, June 23, in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, South Bend. There will be no visitation.
