Dr. Raymond C. Sobecki

Dr. Raymond C. Sobecki, 62, formerly of 1523 Sunnymede Ave., died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Morningside Nursing Home after a 10-year illness. A retired dentist, he was born Aug. 18, 1906, in South Bend.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Helen Podemski of South Bend and Mrs. Gertrude Rafalski of Covington, Ky.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Casimir's Catholic Church with Rev. George Szymanowski, C.S.C., officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the St. Joseph Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.

He was a member of VFW Post 1167 and a graduate of Loyola University Chicago. .
