Robert J. Fry

SOUTH BEND - Robert J. Fry, 86, of St. Paul's Retirement Community, formerly of Orange Road, died of natural causes at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center.
Mr. Fry was a former sales manager for Reliable Dairy and retired as a real estate broker and appraiser. He was born Oct. 10, 1909, in Royal Center.
On June 28, 1929, in Plymouth, he married Marcelline Rockoske. She died May 1, 1991.
He is survived by a daughter, Marcia L. Horning of South Bend; two grandsons; a sister, Letha Manley of South Bend; and a brother, Ivan of Mishawaka.
He was a member of Sumption Prairie United Methodist Church, South Bend Rotary Club, Elks Lodge 235 and Diamond Lake Golf Club, Cassopolis.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
