Harold E. Becker

Services for Harold E. Becker, 80, of North Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of South Bend, who died Thursday in Palm Beach (Fla.) Gardens Medical Center, were held Saturday at Howard Funeral Home, North Palm Beach. Burial was in Palm Beach Memorial Park, Lantana, Fla.

Mr. Becker was the owner of the former Ramble Inn Restaurant, Roseland, and owner of the former Guest Rest Motel, Niles. He was born Dec. 26, 1907, in Wisconsin and lived in South Bend most of his life.

His wife, the former Merle A. Simons, survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Betty Lou Polman of South Bend; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Becker was a 32nd degree Mason and member of St. Joseph Lodge 45
