Charles Gaskill Anderson

Services for Charles Gaskill Anderson, 75, of 128 S. Chapin St., who died early Friday morning in his home after an illness, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael and All Angels' Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oncology Wing of Memorial Hospital or to St. Michael and All Angels' Church.

He was a retired civil engineer and estimator and planner in power and water control, having worked for AGE/AEP, Indiana & Michigan Electric Co., EBASCO, the Denver Water Board and the California Water Resources Board.

He was born Jan. 23, 1911, in South Bend, and had lived here the last 10 years, coming from California.

Surviving is a brother, Henry L. Anderson of Indianapolis.

Mr. Anderson was parish treasurer of the church from 1980 to 1984; a member of Benevolent Protective Order of Elk Lodge 235, South Bend; and was a 1937 graduate of the University of Michigan
