Lennart John Prytz

Lennart John Prytz, 62, of 1850 E. Randolph, died at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday in his home after an extended illness. Prytz was a retired truck driver. Born March 30, 1912, in South Bend, he had lived here his lifetime.

His widow, Dorothy, survives. Also surviving are his father, Gustav Prytz of Deland, Fla.; a son, James, stationed with the Marine Corps, in Japan; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Wilma of South Bend; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Mogren of Deland, and Mrs. Pauline Scott of Mishawaka, and a brother, Carl of Long Beach, Calif.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave. Members of the the St. Joseph Lodge 45, F&AM will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Prytz was a member of Scottish Rite, Valley of South Bend; the St. Joseph Lodge 45, F&AM; the Low Twelve 12 Club, and the River Park Lions Club.
