Esther G. (Troeger) Trippel

Esther Trippel, 77, of 1430 McKinley Ave., died at 8:45 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was born Oct. 31, 1909, in South Bend and lived in the area all her life. On July 8, 1931, in Mishawaka, as Esther Traeger, she married Carl A. Trippel, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Irene Troeger of South Bend; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Church in South Bend, Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m Monday at the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
