Lloyd J. Morgan, 61, of 221 Marquette Ave. died in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital at 2:45 p.m. Sunday shortly after admission. He was taken to the hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was a tool and die maker at the Bendix Corp. for 21 years.

Born Nov. 22, 1909 in Elkhart, he resided in the South Bend area most of his life.

On March 19, 1960, in South Bend he married Merrillyn Tasher, who survives with a son, William Dean, and a daughter Carol Lynn, both at home; two brothers, Daniel R. of South Bend and Donald W. of LaCanada, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Palmer Hope of New Carlisle.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. today at the Welsheimer Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday by Rev. Dean KagarIse, pastor of the Prince of Peace Church of the Brethren. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Morgan was a member of the Bendix Rifle and Pistol Club and the National Rifle Assn
