Harold J. Chichester

Harold J. Chichester, 67. of 336 S. Brook, died at 5 a.m. today in his home. He had been in failing health for two months. Born in Parkersberg, W. Va., on Feb. 1, 1908, Chichester had lived in Mishawaka since 1951 and in South Bend for 15 years before then.
Chichester was a registered pharmacist for 40 years and had been employed as a pharmacist for the last 29 years at Lamont's Pharmacy. South Bend.
In December 1941, in Rochester he married Myrtle VanGundy, who survives, along with three stepdaughters. Mrs. Mildred Nelson and Mrs. Florence Heirman, both of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Ruth Myers of Denver, Colo.; two stepsons, Frank A. Nelson of Mishawaka and Charles E. Nelson of South Bend: three grandchildren; 10 great -grandchildren and a brother. Gerald Chichester of Arizona.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel.
Chichester was a veteran of World War Il.
