Jane Shaw (Ward) Koustmer

Jane Shaw Ward Koustmer. 61, of San Diego, formerly of South Bend, died at 4 a.m. today at home after a five-week illness. She was born on June 1, 1919, in New Orleans, and lived in South Bend for about 20 years.

On April 20, 1940, in South Bend, she married Zack Koustmer, who died in 1956.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Jane Willson of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Nancy Venturacci of Watsonville. Calif.: a son, John of San Diego; eight grandchildren; eight sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Bogue, Mrs. Phyllis Pearson, Mrs. Helene Werner, Mrs. Marilyn Sellers, and Mrs. Barbara Sellers, all of South Bend, Mrs. N Nancy Kealey of Warsaw, Mrs. Sally LuPiba, of Kona, Hawaii, Mrs. Patricia Wagner of Lakeland, Fla.: her stepmother, Mrs. Pearl Shaw of Hamilton, Ont., Canada; and two brothers, James Shaw of South Bend and Edwin Shaw of Kona. Hawaii.

Services will be Saturday in San Diego.
