Agatha M. Stine, 47, of 421 E. Marion St., died at 4:45 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital, where she had been a patient for three weeks. She had been in ill health for three years.

Mrs. Stine was born in South Bend on Dec. 21, 1919, and moved to Mishawaka from there 21 years ago. As Agatha M. Vanslager she was married to Richard J. Stine in South Bend on Sept. 28, 1946.

Before her illness she was employed by the Studebaker Corp.

Surviving are her husband; her mother, Mrs. Martha Vanslager, of San Diego, Calif.: two sons, Terrance R. and James C., and two daughters, Susan M. and Jane Ann, all at home; six brothers, Gaza and Francis, both of San Diego, Carl of Los Angeles, Dennis of Seattle, and Ernest and Joseph, both of La Mesa, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Rudy Weis of San Bernardino, Calif., and Dr. Louise Vanslager of Los Angeles.

Mrs. Stine was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church and was a veteran of World War II, having served as a Wave.

Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
