ROSELAND Cleo Eisbrenner, 69, of 134 W. died at 4:30 a.m. Monday in her home.  Mrs. Eisbrenner had retired from the South Bend Community School Corp. as a Secretary at Clay High School after more than 20 years of employment.

She was born Feb. 22, 1920, in La Porte, and had lived in South Bend for 55 years, coming from LaPorte.

On Sept. 23, 1939, in South Bend, as Cleo Travis, she married Oscar A. Eisbrenner. He survives with four daughters, Karen Hintz and Jan Raymond, both of South Bend, Cathy Bair of Niles and Sally Eisbrenner of Indi-anapolis; a son, Kurt of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and a sister, Marilyn Humphries of Santa Ana, Calif.

She was a member of the Women's Democratic Club, Roseland Citizens Association, life member of the Parent-Teacher-Organization, Zion United Church of Christ and the Women's Guild and Quilters, both of the church.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m.. Thursday at Zion United Church of Christ, South Bend. Cremation will take place. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Weisheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
