Zoe B. (Thomas) McDaniel

SOUTH BEND Zoe Beverly McDaniel, 73, of 1227 E. Howard St., died at 6:48 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. Mrs. McDaniel had been a technician at St. Joseph's Medical Center, retiring after 35 years of service.

She was born Oct. 7, 1919, in South Bend and was a lifelong resident.

On Jan. 8, 1945, in South Bend, she married John McDaniel. He died Dec. 16, 1989.

Surviving are four sons, Bruce, James, Thomas and Richard, all of South Bend; and three brothers, John Morrell of Fort Wayne and Charles and Frank Morrell, both of South Bend.

A son, John, preceded her in death.

She was a member of Augustine's Church, Church Council, and Tolten Society.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery
