Robert Soloff

Private memorial services for Robert Soloff of Grass Valley will be conducted at his home. His ashes will be scattered with those of his wife, Elaine Soloff. Mr. Soloff died Wednesday, June 19, at San Joaquin Hospital in Stockton. He was 83.
He was born on Feb. 25, 1919, in South Bend, Ind. He was a captain in the U.S. Army during World War Il.
He graduated from Purdue University. He was a member of the Bridge Club at the Grove and a past member of the Castlewood Country Club, where he enjoyed playing golf.
He is survived by his companion, Jean Thompson; daughter, Dana Soloff; daughter and son-in-law Laurie and Eric Andrewsen; and grandchildren Haley and Ryan Andrewsen.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Neptune Society of Northern California, Stockton Branch.
