Jack W. Skiles

Jack W. Skiles, 52, of 519 Riverside Dr., died at 8:30 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital after a two-and-a-half-month illness. He was employed 20 years by the Bendix Corp., Mishawaka, as an engineer.

Born Feb. 17, 1919, in Lakeville, Ind., he had lived here his lifetime. On June 15, 1946, in South Bend, he married Donna Parker, who survives, along with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Edinger of Sarasota, Fla.; as son, Arthur Gale, and a daughter, Sandra Gail, both at home.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home. Mr. Skiles was a World War II veteran, serving with the U.S. Army Air Corps.
