Margot E. (Schultz) Craven

SOUTH BEND Margot E. Craven, 76, of Fairview Street, died at 12:25 a.m. today in her home after an illness. Mrs. Craven was the former co-owner of Craven's Hardware. She was born Sept. 22, 1919, in Hagen, Germany, and lived in South Bend most of her life.

On Dec. 17, 1938, in South Bend, as Margot E. Schultz she married Fredrick D. Craven. He died Dec. 9, 1989.

She is survived by a daughter, Mindy Craven Wheeler of Lynchburg, Va.; two sons, Jon P. of Portland, Ore., and Michael F. of Elkhart; three grandchildren; and a sister, Hildegarde Cholasinski South Bend.

She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive, and an hour before services Saturday in the church.
