Marian T. (Schuler) Griffin

Marian T. Griffin, 69, of 12765 E. Jefferson Road, died about 12:55 p.m. Wednesday in Medco Center, South Bend, after an illness. She retired in 1972 from the Foster Ben Franklin Department Store, South Bend, after three years of service.

Mrs. Griffin was born June 5, 1919, in South Bend and lived in this area all her life. A sister, Alma Schuler, also preceded her in death

On June 5, 1945, as Marian T. Schuler, she married William Lloyd Griffin, who died in 1985.

Surviving are two sons, Richard and William R., both of Mishawaka; a grandchild; and a sister, Helen Pethick of Allen, Texas.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Warner Funeral Home, Osceola, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.

She was a graduate of the former Central High School, South Bend.
