Marion D. Robinson, 48, of 704 S. Ironwood Dr., died at a.m. today in Memorial Hospital after a year's illness.
Born South Bend on April 5, 1918, he survived by his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Robinson, with whom lived; a sister, Mrs. Vivian Robison, of South Bend; four nieces and four nephews.
Friends may call after noon Tuesday in the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral, Home, where services will held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Orlo Bradford, pastor the Broadway EUB Church, which he was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
Prior to his illness Mr. Robinson was employed by Highway Cruiser Inc., Goshen. He was member of Elks Lodge 1152, Gary; a veteran of World War II, and a member of River Park Post 303 American Legion. Members of the River Park post will conduct graveside rites.
