MABEL G. DECK, 87, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at Hospice Home. Born in South Bend, she was a homemaker and had worked at Miss and Master Children's Shop for over 10 years. She was a member of Grace Saint John's United Church of Christ and Fort Wayne Sport Club Auxiliary.

Surviving are a daughter, Judy (Bob) Myers of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Tim (Kerri) Bowers of Windsor, Colo., Jo (Terry) Tracy of Auburn, Rhonda (Dave) Kessel of Kendallville, Terry (Lisa) Myers of Fort Wayne and Barry (Erica) Myers of Fort Wayne; and brother, Paul Rexstrew of South Bend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Deck; a brother, Harold Rexstrew; and a sister, Helen Werner.

Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, with visitation one hour prior, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Grace Saint John's United Church of Christ.
