John C. Pataky

John C. Pataky, 44, of Muskegon, a native of. South Bend, died Sunday of a heart attack in Muskegon. A project engineer for the Aircraft Division of Continental Motors Corp., he moved to Muskegon from South Bend in 1949. He was born Sept. 23, 1919, in South Bend and was graduated from Tri-State College, Angola. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Muskegon; Muskegon Elks Lodge; for/Society of Automotive Engineers; American Society of Tool Engineers and the West Shore Symphony, of which he was World treasurer.

He was a veteran of World War II. 

Surviving are widow, Gloria Jean; two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Jones Jr. of Muskegon and Mrs. Helen Hendrick of South Bend and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Pataky, also of South Bend.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Muskegon, with burial in Restlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Clock Funeral Home, Muskegon.
