Charles H. Murphy

GOSHEN - Charles H. Murphy, 46, of 410 S. 6th St., died at 12:10 p.m. Saturday at the Goshen Hospital.

He was born in South Bend on July 25, 1919, and had lived the last 19 years here. He was an industrial foreman at the U.S. Rubber Co. in Mishawaka.

He married Francis Jean Robbins on May 17, 1940.

She survives with his mother, Mrs. Lela Murphy, of South Bend; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Rhoutsong of South Bend, Elizabeth and Cordelia, both at home, and a sister, Mrs. George Ponader, of Eau Gallie, Fla.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Mennonite Church here with Rev. J. Herbert Fretz officiating. Burial will be in the Edwardsburg, Mich. Cemetery. Friends may call at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.

Mr. Murphy served 4½ years with the U.S. Air Force in Saipan
