Annie Lee "Mike" (Moore) Brumbaugh

Annie Lee "Mike" Moore Brumbaugh, 79 passed away August 28, 1999, while vacationing in Kingsport, Tennessee. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she was raised in South Bend, Indiana, where she met her husband of 57 years, John G. Brumbaugh. Married on Christmas Eve, 1941, they moved to Lima, Peru where John was based for twelve years as a pilot for Pan American Grace Airways Panagra. They moved to Coral Gables in 1954, and to East Ridge Retirement Village in 1994.
Mike was a graduate of Northwestern University, and a member of the Junior Leage of Miami, the Guild of the Museum of Science, and P.E.O. Mike was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to being a wonderful homemaker, Mike enjoyed traveling and playing bridge.
She is survived by her husband. John G. Brumbaugh, her two children. Jack Brumbaugh (Caroline) and Dale Dowlen (Lon), both of Coral Gables, and six grandchildren, Pat Brumbaugh (Ann), David Brumbaugh, Christine Dowlen, Katie Brumbaugh, Buddy Dowlen, and Carrie Brumbaugh.
A memorial service will be held Friday. September 10, 1999, at 2:30 PM in the auditorium of East Ridge Retirement Village. 19301 SW 87 Ave.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to Christ Congregational Church, 14920 SW 67 Ave., Miami 33158.
A great lady, Mike was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be sorely missed
