Rita (Martin) Snider

BUENA VISTA, Ga.

Rita Snider, 68, of Buena Vista, and her daughter, Marsha Milam, 40, of Senoia, died Thursday in Hawaii. The funeral for both will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Hopewell United Methodist Church, Schley County, with burial in Ellaville Cemetery, according to Giddens Funeral Home.

Mrs. Snider was born Nov. 22, 1919, in South Bend, Ind., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Martin. She lived in Marion County 40 years and was a salesperson at Belk-Higgins Department Store for 18 years. She was a member of the Ellaville Rainbow Garden Club, the FortyNiners Club and the United Methodist Women of Hopewell United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon McEver of Gainesville and Linda Dillard of Columbus; a son, Charles Snider of Smiths, Ala.; two sisters, Ila Davis of South Bend and Cyrilla Andert of Edwardsburg, Mich.; seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
