Gwendolyn R. (Leach) Wright

STEVENSVILLE Gwendolyn Ruth Wright of Stevensville, MI, passed away on January 8, 2011. She was born on June 30, 1919, to Raymond Rudolph Leach and Leonice Beatrice (Colip) Leach, who have preceded her in death. 

In 1946 she married Raymond Lowell Crowell who preceded her in 1960. In 1961 she married Neil Wright, who preceded her in death in 1983. Also preceding her in death were a brother, Wayne Leach, and a sister, Collette Tulchinsky.

She was employed many years at Auto Specialties until they closed. Then she worked for Memorial Gardens Crematory and Berrien County Cancer Service. Mrs. Wright loved playing golf and belonged to a golf league for many years.

Survivors include a niece, Leonice Lovett of Vinita, OK; nephew, Richard Leach of South Bend, IN; nephew, Larry Leach of Houston, TX, and niece, Cheryl (Leach) Keip of Big Springs, TX. A great-niece, Laura Lynn Leach of South Bend, IN; several other great-nieces and nephews; great-greatnieces and nephews; and great-great-great-nieces and nephews.

There are no services planned. Palmer Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
