Grafton "Red" Ladson

Grafton "Red" Ladson, age 88, passed away October 24, 2007 in Colorado Springs. He was born October 5, 1919 in Jasonville, Indiana to Lex and Greta Martha (Grafton) Ladson.
Red served in the Army Air Corp during World War II and the Air Force during the Korean War. He married Nell DeAngelis on June 30, 1946 in Trinidad, Colorado. Following his military service, he worked for Coors Distributing Company and later as an electronics technician with Hewlett Packard for many years. Red was an avid fisherman and hunter. Following retirement, he became an avid golfer as well.
He is survived by his wife, Nell; daughter, Peggy Ladson Myers, of Colorado Springs; brother, Donald (Eleanor) Ladson of Eckert, Colorado; two grandsons, Eric (Carrie) Myers and Joel Myers; and two great-granddaughters, Madison and Hannah Myers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at the Shrine of Remembrance. Entombment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Garden of Angels Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Red's memory to Pikes Peak Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
