Theresa H. Birx, 81, of 806 Camp Meade Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Birx.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Connie Leach of Hagerstown and Linda Wienecke of Fallston, Md.; four grandchildren, Brian Leach of Huntington Beach, Calif., Heather Crabtree of Hamilton, Va., Jessica Wienecke and Edward Wienecke, both of Fallston.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister, both of South Bend, Ind.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Glen Burnie, Md. The Rev. Msgr. Edward W. Manalis will be celebrant. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at Singleton Funeral Home, Crain Highway, Glen Burnie.
