G. ROBERT JORDAN, 81, Indianapo- lis, died April 1. An insurance agent, he owned G. Robert Jordan & Associates Insurance Co. for 25 years until 1995.

He was a 1942 graduate of Wabash College and a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. An Army veteran of World War II, he was the recipient of a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. April 5 in Castleton United Methodist Church, of which he was a member, with calling there from 10 a.m.. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to the American Heart Association.

Survivors: wife Doris Clarke Jordan; children Thomas, Sherry L. Jordan; sister Lou Darkus: two grandchildren.
