Cecelia V. (Jaroszewski) Osowski

Cecelia V. Osowski, age 81, of Koko Ct., South Bend, IN, died at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 4, in Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 21, 1918 in South Bend, IN, to Ladislaus and Mary (Samulski) Jaroszewski who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death are five brothers, Casimer (Helen) Jaroszewski, Stanley (Joan) Jaroszewski, Louis (Lottie) Jaroszewski, John Jaroszewski, Clement (Chesterine) Jaroszewski and a sister, Clara M. Clark.

She graduated in 1937 from Central High School.

On January 19, 1945, she married Matthew J. Osowski, who survives. Also surviving is her daughter, Mary Kathryn Osowski (HusbandRonald Thelen) of Fredericksburg; VA, a sister, Lillian Jaroszewski, also three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Jaroszewski, and Bernice Eitler, both of South Bend, and Helen (Frank) Kuminecz of Orchard Park, NY, and two brothers-in-law, Stanley (Bernadette) Osowski and Theophil Osowski both of South Bend.

Family and friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today in the ST.. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be said at 4:00 p.m. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with entombment to follow in the Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
