Marion H. Janowski

SOUTH BEND Marion H. Janowski, 74, of South Jackson Street, died about 4 a.m. today in his home of natural causes. Mr. Janowski retired in 1981 after 25 years at Torrington Manufacturing Co.

He was born April 9, 1917, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On Oct. 5, 1946, in South Bend, he married Henrietta Nowak. She survives with a son, Michael of South Bend; and three sisters, Helen Banaszak, Phyllis Markiewicz and Pauline Rusiecki, all of South Bend.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Entombment will be in St.

Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Zahoran Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Hospice of St. Joseph County.
