Evelyn R. Sharpsteen-Droltz, 93, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at 5 p.m., Sunday, March 25, 2012 in Golden Living-Countryside Nursing Home.
Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the arrangements.

She was born June 11, 1918 in South Bend, IN to Paul and Julia (Vansteenkista) Dhoore.

In April, 1953 in Bryan, OH she married Herman Sharpsteen who preceded her in death in 1982. In May, 1999 in Brandon, FL she married Rudy Droltz who preceded her in death in 2004.

Survivors include one sister, Gloria Krause of La Porte; one niece, Lynne (Larry) Wahlstrom of La Porte; two nephews, Scott (Karen) Krause of South Bend and James (Dale) Dhoore of York, Maine; several great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Louis Dhoore.

There will be no services and cremation will take place. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Road, La Porte (219) 362-3100 is caring for the arrangements.
