Marjorie (Couter) Gaffney, 68, of Decatur died 9:25 5.p.m. Sunday, March 13, 1988, in Lincoln Manor North. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange, Ind. No visitation. Arrangements by Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gaffney was born in LaGrange, daughter of Llewellyn Griffith and Ruth Short Couter. She attended the Presbyterian Church and was a registered dietician.
She married J. Mitchell Gaffney in 1943. He died in 1968.
Surviving is her brother, William T. Couter, M.D. of Decatur
