Betty M. Kujawski, 59, of 28981 State Road 2, New Carlisle, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in Billings Hospital. Chicago, after a short illness. She was a registered nurse.

Born on Sept. 2, 1918 in South Bend, she was a lifelong resident.

On Sept. 5, 1942 in South Bend, as Betty M. Bykowski, she married Clement P. Kujawski. He survives with a son, Thomas of New Carlisle; a granddaughter; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Woods of Tampa, Fla. and Mrs. Harriet Crawford of Tarpin Springs, Fla.; a brother, Frank Bykowski of Bradenton, Fla. and her parents. Mr. and Mrs. John Bykowski of New Carlisle
