Louise E. (Blankert) Millar

Louise E. Millar,70,of 3616 E.Riverside Road, died at 10:35 p.m. Monday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Millar was a retired secretary from the South Bend Community School Corporation. She was born Sept. 5, 1919, in Mishawaka. She moved to Buchanan in 1968, coming from South Bend.

On May 2, 1941, in South Bend, she married Northrup W. Millar. He survives with a daughter, Ann Garvey of Vienna, Va.;a son, Mike E. of Michigan City; two grandchildren;a sister, Jean Wonisch of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and a brother, Edward Blankert of South Bend. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Swem Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Berrien County Cancer Society.
