Maxine H. (Bauer) Barcus

ANDERSON. Ind. - Services for Maxine H. Bauer Barcus, 70, will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Robert D. Loose Funeral. Home. Calling will begin an hour before services.

Mrs. Barcus died Monday. A physical education and driver's education teacher in the Anderson schools 45 years, Mrs. Barcus also taught classes to prisoners at the Madison County Jail and the Indiana Reformatory at Pendleton. She retired from the Anderson schools in 1987. She was former vice president of the Madison County Retired Teachers Association and was a volunteer worker at the Americana Nursing Home and the Salvation Army. She also was a member of Park Place Church of God.

She was the widow of William Barcus. Survivor - sister Teta Grant.
