Milton J. Batalis. 516 Ostemo PI., died Wednesday morning in Veterans' Hospital, Indianapolis, after brief illness. He was born in Manchester. N. H., Nov. 5, 1917, He spent most of his life in South Bend.

He operated Harry's Grill, 123 E. Jefferson Blvd., and Coney Island Restaurant, 916 S. Michigan St.

He married Peticia Clones, Sept. 25, 1955. in Indianapolis. She survives as does a daughter, Catherine, at home; three brothers, James Jr., Buffalo, N. Y., Peter and Paul, both of South Bend, and a sister, Mrs. Anthony Siomos, South Bend.

He was a member of St. Andrew's Greek Orthodox Church and Ahepa. He was a veteran World War II and was graduated from Central High School in 1937.
