Services for Nicolas "Nick" Ruggieri, 60, of Fort Worth, Tex., formerly of South Bend, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Dowson, Tex. The Shannos South Funeral Home, Fort Worth, is making arrangements. He died at 3 a.m. Sunday in his home after an apparent heart attack.
He was born on April 19, 1918. in Cincinnati, Ohio.
On Dec. 21, 1947, he married Vesta Lea Davis, who survives. Also surviving are two children, Frank and Virginia, both at home; a sister, Elizabeth Susanna of South Bend, and a brother, Frank of Cincinnati.
Ruggieri was principal at Riverside Middle School in Fort Worth
